A Charlie Brown Christmas
Crews Control cameraman Greg Freeman covered the unveiling of some holiday cheer with the US Postal Service! USPS is celebrating the holiday season by commemorating the 1965 classic, A Charlie Brown Christmas, in their latest series of Forever Stamps. The stamps depict images from the first animated special starring the beloved characters of the comic strip, Peanuts.
The stamp dedication took place at the Charles M. Schulz Museum in Santa Rosa, CA. Shulz’s widow Jean Shulz, as well as his son Craig Shulz were a part of the dedication alongside the Executive Producer of A Charlie Brown Christmas.
Freeman was thrilled to be on location to film the event.
The official stamps were released on October 1 to coincide with the Peanuts comic strip debut in 7 newspapers in 1950.
