Elvis Forever
In our hearts, minds, and souls legends live forever. For the second time, Elvis Presley has been commemorated on a USPS stamp – this time forever.
The US Postal Service released the latest forever stamp featuring Presley. The stamp was unveiled by Priscilla Presley and Postmaster General Megan Brennan on the front lawn of The King’s home in Memphis, Tennessee.
Brennan said at the unveiling: “It’s impossible to think about music today without rock and roll, or to think of rock and roll without Elvis Presley. [He] inspired millions to challenge to boundaries of expression. For that we honor the musical icon who brightened our culture with his talent, his passion, and his voice.”
