PRODUCTION COORDINATOR
Job description:

We are looking for an experienced Production Coordinator with knowledge of video production, camera and media formats, excellent at building relationships with customers, wicked organizational and time management skills. Finally, and most importantly, a positive and upbeat attitude.
Overall qualities in a candidate successful in the position:
• Sense of humor, urgency, organization/attention to detail and flexibility are prioritized more than anything else.
• 4-5 years of video production experience strongly preferred with a heavy interest in production and production
management.
• Proactive and excellence dealing with rapid fire updates, multi-tasking, and logistics.
• Unafraid to pick up the phone and call someone to get information quickly or build relationships.
• Prioritize building relationships and comfort suggesting the best solutions even to your superiors.
• Fanatical about the client experiences and identifies ways to facilitate the best most efficient solution to
challenges faced.
• Ease in learning new software and adapting to changes on a daily – or hourly – basis.
Administrative duties:
• Support Production Managers (PMs) to ascertain availability, rates, equipment details and any other technical
questions ensuring all needs of the project are met ~ all with a sense of humor and urgency to fulfill the lastminute needs of the production.
• Contact crews with upcoming shoots to ensure all details are correct and crews are confirmed to shoot for the
client with the right equipment.
• Miscellaneous administrative tasks in support of the PMs as needed.
• Assist Production Managers to secure client feedback on crew performance.
• Assist Production Managers with reviewing accuracy of crew invoices prior to submission to finance for billing.
• Upon completion of training, assist Production Managers with vacation coverage support.
Production + Technical Qualities + Duties:
• Able to review project scope and make sure the client’s request matches what they need.
• Comfortable suggesting the best approach to clients with varying levels (none to expert) of production
experience.
• Ease in discussing project details with crews and assistants to best translate the client’s request to create an
appropriate contract scope. High level of attention to detail in translating clients asks to crew work request.
• Capable of identifying characteristics in our vetted crews that make them a perfect match for a project.
• Ensure contracts, invoices, data, production details and procurement requirements for each project are
correct.
• Ease in learning new software and comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite.
Requirements + Pay Scale
• College Degree Required.
• Will train the right individual based on the qualities outlined.
• LOCATION – DMV area preferred – DC, Maryland, Virginia (within 1-2 hours’ drive time) initially; however, the position is 100% remote.
• Salary: $TBD, with several performance-based bonus opportunities and year-end bonus; PTO, 401(k) match, medical reimbursement plan and more including PVTO (Paid Volunteer Time Off).
