Sony’s PMW-F5, F55, and the AXS-R5 firmware version 2.0 is available for download now. This is the update F5, F55, and AXS-R5 operators have been waiting for. The upgrade implements over thirty new features and enhancements. Some of these features include 2K Raw high frame rate (HFR) shooting up to 240fps (selectable from 120fps, 180fps and 240fps), as well as internal HD XAVC high frame rate shooting up to 120fps to SxS Pro+ cards. You are given the capability of recording 120fps at 2K Raw and XAVC HD simultaneously. Support for the new XQD memory card format has officially been added (via SxS to QXD adapter).
