The “Hot Shot” Drone Shoot of the Month
This video was shot by Crews Control DP Jim Flores, from 3M in Austin, Texas. Here he describes the process and equipment used to shoot such a high-quality video:
“We shot the video above using a Canon C300 MKII camera and Canon L-Series Zoom Lenses. For the aerial shots, we used a DJI Inspire 1 drone. We were forced to shoot in the middle of the day due to providing an extremely short turnaround, and the MKII allowed us to capture some nice imagery. The drone allowed us to get a birds-eye view of the client’s product installation, which would have been hard to get any other way. A big thanks to my crew for making this happen!”
