The data we collect is used by corporate in-house media groups and production companies to forecast trends and make decisions on equipment purchases for the future. This data comes from our internal database and helps determine the top requested video cameras from our corporate video productions. Manufacturers use our data to identify rising trends in usage of their platforms worldwide. In this article, you’ll find our Q2 + Q3 2021 camera usage report.

Shown in the data above, the Sony PXW-FS7 is the most commonly requested and used camera for our corporate video productions. This has been a reoccurring trend in our Camera Usage Reports since 2018. Compared to last quarter’s report, the Sony PXW-FX9 rose in popularity for Q2 and Q3 video shoots. The PXW-FS7 M2 dropped two spots since Q1, so we are eager to see if it continues to drop by the end of Q4.
